This week Boo has demonstrated exactly what she thinks of DaddyBear.
Saturday morning:
Boo- "Is Daddy here?"
Me- "Yes! He's in bed"
*runs into our bedroom and onto our bed*
Boo- "Daddy!!!!"
*plays with Daddy all day*
Sunday morning:
Boo- "Is Daddy here?"
Me- "Yes! He's in bed"
*runs into our bedroom and onto our bed*
Boo- "Daddy!!!!"
*plays with Daddy all day*
Monday morning:
Boo- "Is Daddy here?"
Me- "Sorry darling no, Daddy's gone to work"
*sad face*
Later...
*I find an eyelash on her cheek*
Me- "Blow your eyelash and make a wish Boo"
*blows eyelash*
Boo- "I wished that Daddy would come back"
Tuesday morning:
Boo- "Is Daddy here?"
Me- "No sorry darling, Daddy's at work"
Boo- "NO DADDY IS HERE! HE IS HERE IN MY HOUSE RIGHT NOW! DADDY IS HERE!!!"
Me- "No darling he's at work, we'll see him later"
Boo- "NO HE NOT GO TO WORK ANYMORE!!!"
Me- "Oh sweetie, Daddy has to go to work to get money. If he didn't go to work we wouldn't have our house, or food..."
Boo- "Food"
Me- "or toys, or clothes!"
*thinks about it, smiles*
Boo- "We see Daddy later!"
Wednesday morning:
*peeks out if her room early and sees Daddy before he goes to work*
Boo- "No Daddy, go downstairs, go to work, we see you later"
So you see, as much as Boo loves her Secondary Carer, she can cope with the daily separation if it means keeping her in food and toys (and I feel the same way!)
