(Here goes my very first review, so please bear with me!)
This is one for all you busy mum's out there; running around after your hyper children, rushing to get to nursery/toddler group/baby singing/doctor's appointments/here, there and everywhere! And all without breaking a sweat!
I was due up in Clapham on Saturday night for my best friend's birthday celebrations, and started getting ready when Boo went for her afternoon nap. I came out of the shower at about 3pm, put 2 clicks of my trusty Sure under each arm, and busied myself getting spruced up (something that takes a hell of a lot longer than it used to, and produces less than great results, but that's beside the point).
I lost track of time and ended up having to run to the train station to avoid missing my train. I panted into the station with a right sweat on, only to discover that the bloody train was running 20 minutes late. This in turn meant that I missed my connection at Reading to Clapham, and had to go instead to Paddington and get on one tube and an overland train. Which resulted in a whole lot of rushing about, a lot of swearing, and a lot of sweat inducing moments. I eventually got to my friend's house an hour later than planned, with a very shiney forehead, but thanks to my trusty Sure, no B.O smells!
Me singing away after quite a few G&Ts |
After a pit stop at MacDonald's on the way home, we passed out back at my friend's place at about 3am.
The following morning, after a large, sugary tea, I started getting dressed to go out for a big fry up brekkie, and to my horror realised I had forgotten to bring my deodorant with me! No biggie, I'll just borrow some of my friend's, I thought, but after I finished getting dressed I got so excited about the thought of breakfast that I forgot to ask!
So after a full english (veggie of course), and another hellish journey full of rushing for delayed trains, back to Goring, I was still unaware of my deodorantless self.
It wasn't until the following morning when I was getting ready to go to singing group with Boo, that I realised I had not applied deodorant for 41hrs!!! I know it's not the full 48hrs, but with 2 busy sweaty days, and a very sweaty night I think it did remarkably well! And thought it was definitely worthy of my first ever review!
So tell all your sweaty friends, Sure Women Maximum Protection is the deodorant for you!

I have never tried the 48 hour claims either, I have just never really believed it could work. I am now wondering if maybe I was wrong though! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
ReplyDeleteWow! I've not tested the whole 48hr thing either but that's pretty impressive! Think I might have to give this one a go! :)
