When I was pregnant with Boo I did a lot of research into all kinds of nappies. I hated the thought of contributing hundreds of disposable nappies and wipes into landfill. But at the same time, I was a bit scared of taking on the fully reusable cloth nappies; I knew I'd have tonnes of washing to do with a new baby and the thought of having to wash nappies on top of that made me want to cry. So I looked for an alternative, and found it in bio-degradable disposable nappies and wipes.
I tried Nature Babycare ones first but found the nappies leaked at night time and just didn't really get on with them. I hunted online and found Beaming Baby! They claimed that their nappies could hold 12hrs worth of wee-wee (they certainly can!) and were bio-degradable, totally organic and kind to baby's skin, and could be delivered to your door the next day! Stress free, guilt free, leak free! Fabulous!
I have been using Beaming Baby now since Boo was a couple of months old and I really cannot praise them highly enough! Boo hardly ever has nappy rash and their wipes are lovely, fragrance free and super gentle.
It is a Devon based company, started by Charlie Wynne; a concerned Uncle who's niece suffered from eczema. It has a really lovely, personable feel about it. Their customer care is also second to none, if you have a problem with an order or anything there is always a friendly, real person just a phone call away! They do Facebook give-aways every Monday, give loyalty vouchers all the time, and always ask for your feedback. I recently fed back that Boo was getting too big for their biggest size of nappy, and was having to put her in Pampers at night-time. They got back to me straight away and said that they are currently developing larger sizes and Pull-Up versions of their fab nappies! Hurrah!
They sell loads of other stuff on their website too; toiletries, nappy creams, toys, clothing, the list goes on!
Take a look at http://www.beamingbaby.co.uk/
I PROMISE you won't be disappointed! (and if you are (which I doubt!) then they offer a no quibble, full refund, guarantee, plus free returns! so you have nothing to lose!)

These are very interesting - I am a cloth nappy user but I have used disposables now and then when out and about, and I think these would be ideal for us! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate, I honestly cannot rate them highly enough! They are everything I wanted in a nappy- convenient, functional, and eco friendly! Please do give them ago- they do free trial packs too! X

ReplyDeleteThis is so fab... we used a mix of cloth and sposies so this would be perfect for us rather than the traditional sposies!!
ReplyDeleteThey really are fabulous nappies!
ReplyDeleteWe use cloth nappies but I agree that it would be good to have some eco disposables to use occasionally, especially on holiday. These sound like a good compromise.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a more eco disposable!
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up this week :)
