Bravo Bravado!

I have just received the best gift I could possibly have received at this moment in time- a Bravado! Designs underwear set!

I have been really struggling to find a suitable maternity bra this time around. The ones I had with Boo just don't fit right this time and I haven't been able to find anything that ticks all my boxes of what I want from a maternity bra; Comfort, Support, Breastfeeding compatible, and Flexible, as I know my bra size will vary greatly during pregnancy and beyond.

That's what I love so much about the Bravado! set I have been sent. The nursing bra ticks every one of my boxes, and came with matching, seamless panties which are also the ultimate in comfort.

The design I have been trying out is a new style called Confetti. It's made from seam-free, tag-free, light-weight stretchy fabric that is super supportive and versatile. The bra comes in only 4 sizes, S, M, L and XL, and fits up to an F-Cup, supporting up to 60lbs of boob-age! I have been wearing a large size for my C cup breasts and I feel 100% supported in it, but know that it will easily and comfortable accommodate my growing bosom as my pregnancy progresses. So no need to keep buying bigger bras or constantly getting fitted with this clever design. The bra has easy open and close clips with full drop away cups for ease of breastfeeding and skin to skin contact. And because it's not a moulded cup it's much easier to fold down out of the way of baby when nursing.

I've been trying out the Confetti set in 'Fawn', (it is also available in Black and Plum) and as well as it's comfort and practicality I love it's design. It's not a bulky, purpose built contraption that makes you feel wholly unattractive, but rather a figure fitting, lightweight, attractive bra with pretty details. I love the little lace trim, the low V-neck styling, and cute little bow that all make it feel like a nice piece of underwear that I would choose to wear whether I was pregnant or not.

I always choose neutral coloured bras as I hate seeing bold colours and patterns through clothing, so the Fawn shade was perfect! I was a little concerned from photos that the spotty design on the bra would be visible through clothing, but in real life the spots are very subtle and woven into the fabric, and as you can see above, not visible through clothing at all. You can see a glimpse of the bow, but the t-shirt I was wearing is particularly thin and as that's the only part of it that was visible I think it did pretty well! I also hate seeing lumps and bumps and seams through clothing, and there's none of that to be found, making it a perfect 't-shirt bra'.

Bravado! Designs endeavours to create the perfect maternity and nursing bras that provide the ultimate comfort, style and fit, and can be worn throughout your pregnancy and beyond. And I can safely say that with the Confetti style they have indeed achieved this. I have been wearing this set now for 2 weeks (not constantly obviously, I do (reluctantly) take it off for a wash now and then) and I can hand on heart say it is by far the best maternity set I have ever had!

So if you're like me and desperate to find some comfort, look no further!

I was sent this Bra set to review but all opinions are my own and I most definitely would say if I didn't like it!

  8. That looks comfy as hell. I remember the worst nursing bras were the ones that left you feeling sweaty under your boobs and restricted. Looks like Bravado have nailed it with that bra! #brilliantblogposts

  16. That looks like a fab bra, my maternity bra was awful, so uncomfortable and definitely no wiggle room for growing boobs during pregnancy!
